you takin the piss boyo? when you realise 4days before your final ict exam that youve got a jobby load more than you thought to revise that doesnt totally make sense (have a look on bbc bitesize), and then realise afterwards that youve forgotten how to do most of your maths an chemistry and you still have loads more to revise, they is not so easy. just wait til its your turn
no doubt in a years time/2years time i will be saying that gcse's were nothing compared to as/a2's, but rightnow im not so bothered, cos in the last few weeks iv gone from not being worried, to revisin til my head hurt, n then to just feeling tired and slightly hungry.
i gess a lot of the problem s te pressure n amount of work to revise, but i wouldnt say at all that theyve been easy so far. n coursework, eugh, im not even gna start on that...
il go with it and see what happens.
Exams and whatnot

Aw, i remember gcses! They were fantabulous in comparison to these beasts, although, I can fail 5 of my 11 exams and it won't matter Heard the chem practical was a goodun' - Enthalpy change? That's what our college had... i'm hoping that means we'll have an observation or titration... The burettes have mysteriously disappeared from all the labs... But yes... hope everyone's are going well... First one for me is wednesday - key skills IT! It's a joke!! On the front of the test paper, they say
"For this exam you will need : This test paper and access to a computer"
Nice way to ease me back into them... I get bust the week before JIRCs with my last exams on monday morning - 3hours of chemistry The hideous timing of having fp1, fp2, fp3, byb5, and byb7 means i can't go to the strokes/foos gig sunday night
Also merrick - don't stress about it, what will be will be, work hard but don't knacker yourself because that will end up being counterproductive. Trust me.

agreed. relax, revise a bit and you'll have no problems. its worse if you get uptight about them.

Seriously mate, do not get over stressed about GCSEs. Do some work yes, but like Lizi says, dont kill yourself doing it. Also dont do what i did and do almost no revision whatsoever, this is bad.
Only...many many days til exams are over. Now, where did I put my shotgun...

Yeah, as i found out later and for bad reasons... gcse results are actually quite important spesh for some courses at some unis... but then again not for the majority... so kick back and enjoy!

Your time will come Anwen. GCSEs aren't bad really. Just realised I've done a quarter of them already and they've all gone fine so far. Only PE tomorrow, which I'm confident about but still want to do really well in. After all, its the subject that I want to take on. English Lit was great today - both questions were ones I'd done before in class and got good answers so just tried to regurgitate them!
