well can't say i will be put off that easy kids! come on, lakes is gorgeous maps and in summer i can only remember sunshine! *yes i may have a selective memory * if the rest of my summer plans allow me to go i will, though i would think i'll be in my uncle's cottage so maybe not social central, but perfectly up for visiting people on a campsite if they get one...

well yeah lizi i'm the same, lakes in summer and all that sounds wonderful but for me its just not really feasible as i dont have that option of somewhere to stay/eat, and with the transport difficulties etc...

fairy doodles to you then helen, but there are some who could make it who are just giving up easy... i say go richard! you find a campsite, though G has a point, toothless farmer sounds better than commercial

Guys, we know how much you want to have a summer break in the Lakes without as much inconvience as possible. Myself, Rich and others are doing our best to find possible (and feasable) alternatives - don't forget that we also want it as badly as you all do, so we know what you want! Please get as much support for an alternative as possible, rally round everyone who wanted to go who may not now that there is no official site - we need juniors. We may not get what we wanted optimally but damnit we'll try n do the best we can! Please don't be put off the idea of coming just yet!
