lol, but im just as bad!! i was overweight on the way back from the oringen last year too...had to stuff a load of stuff into my hand luggage. but this time we only have 7 and 15kg, eek! and i didnt take a headtorch battery to the oringen, mine weighs a ton! also i dont wanna have my o shoes in hand baggage cuz they set off the detector at the airport if they have dobs! i was searched last year!

I have a really old pair of O shoes with out dobs, so they're ok!!

looks like i might manage the 15kg after all, had a practise pack today and managed 12kg
i might do a tape or two to play in the minibuses at halden as im assuming they won't have cd players! calum is bringing a tape adaptor too, but if anyone has any requests then i will try my best to put them on. if you want to send me any tracks my email address is on my profile if you don't have it.

That's interesting. Last year we only neeeded Norwegian Kroner. As for explaining this letter, it could be that a) you're going to Sweden for a bit, perhaps an event; it is very close (indeed they may do the food shopping in Sweden because it works out cheaper). or b) It's a mistake by someone who got it confused with Uppsala.
I suggest that you don't bother going to get any Swedish Kronor until you've had this explained properly. Furthermore, I am sure there are several people on your tour who went to the O-ringen and will therefore have left over swedish Kronor that they may want to get rid of and I imagine would be only too happy to trade for some Norwegiam Kroner or Sterling.

I think it is supposed to be Norweigan kroner. I heard it was a mistake!

its been absolutely manic round here for the last couple of days trying to organise getting to the airport. we've finally just booked rooms at the dean park hotel 5 mins from the airport for myself, tim, dan and ben, and my family are staying there too.
on an email it said that we will only need a bit of norwegian money, though i guess if we're flying back from gothenburg we may want some swedish to buy drinks/snacks while waiting at the airport.
