It is mostly sheep cropped grass, ie very fast. The broken ground bits are generally lots and lots of pits and lumps but not grotty from what I remember. There are some rabbit holes. I'd probably play on the safe side anyhow with a tennis ball ankle.

individual area carsington pastures is nicely runnable...hills are steep tho n its easy 2 be looking for a 'pit' for ages...i bet most of the controls will be in pits
im not sure how they will plan the longer courses tho,i did i blue there about a year ago and it criss crossed like mad with big chances of having found a couple of the later controls before u were meant2,unless theyv expanded the area i dunno

I don't think they've got to. I think someone is being forgotten who has finished their exams and is an M18 in the north west. Just because he isn't in the squad, doesn't mean he shouldn't be overlooked for a couple of 16sRookie wrote:thanks to the joys of exams NW have got two 16s running 18
