Sherwood pines is a forestry commision forest with a visitors centre and well used bike trials. Typical East Mids grid network of paths. Some deeps gullies and stuff as well, It was used for the British schools a couple of years ago.

hmm, i have a similar prob that its sw schools heptathlon too, pretty big event for me but i decided that orienteering comes first, i cant miss jircs! i reckon it mightve been better to have it the following weekend, reduces clash with end of exams/other sporting events/eyoc in particular, south west have lost both of our w18s!
