i shouldn't post here but hey you asked for older folks hr's, i got a mammoth 229 last saturday but i think that might have been a mistake, havent plugged into a comp yet to find out, i quite often get around 200-210 when doing first race after a long absence tho... but then i'm always [nope]ed so maybe that has something to do with it.
check out your resting heart rate when u first wake up in the morning, it can give you a much better feeling for what sort of levels you should be aiming at.

i dont do much, but this is my typical week:
mon: other stuff, well netball but that doesnt really count!
tue: netball, dancing
wed: 2hrs tennis
thur: hockey then athletics, usually intervals, hill reps, gym or run
fri: i try to meet up with a friend who i do athletics with and go for a run with her, if not on my own
sat: usually busy
sun: o race
i also try to get out 4 runs whenever i can find the time
