I thought Lakeside was really good, it was nice to get some training after having a couple weekends with no orienteering So many marshes though! Was i the only person slightly disturbed by the strength of the coffee in the coffee machine? So many people seemed to get really hyper after they had any coffee from there, maybe caffeine in the Lake District is just stronger or something but in general it seemed a really fun weekend.

From Helen P (Melons)
I can't reply to the junior forum being so old so you can post this for me if you like. i was a bit frightened to look on nopesport this morning incase everyone was slagging me off but due to my addiction it was unavoidable-probably caused by all my timewasting on it during my 6months in sweden!!
anyway glad to hear you found it interesting, i was quite nervous especially with my mates in the back heckling, in the pub after they told me the questions they thought of asking, very glad they didn't
the JK video was pretty random. especially the guy looking at his map absolutely terrified, i was just pleased i wasn't speaking on it and i didn't look too fat! plus i thought my hair looked nice, all the important things.
the training was top, although i was all over the place in the sprint race, was quite relieved none of you whippersnappers beat me, but some got pretty close, i maintain i lost loads of time due to being so inept with the manual punching.
so thanks to jenny for slick organising despite head injury and to all of you for not throwing things and booing during my talk. fun fun, see you all at some events in sweden in the future then!!
ps: from me - thanks for the sweets Helen! and yes i was gonna ask that question anyway, i didnt just do it for the sweets!!!

I think the French is a biannual event, but the other thing is that it is still quite early and they may not put out info til the New Year.
I've heard that the Swiss 6 should be good and the campsite is anything like last time should be great, swimming pools beach, lake all for free and fanstatic sports complex with a good climbing wall as well.

I've heard great things about the area for the Swiss5 too...many planning to head to that??
I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.
