Did everyone who went enjoy it? I thought it was a really good area, good balance between technical and (fast) running. I had a pretty good run too.
And another thing, anyone know when the results will be up?

I thought it was a great event, nice atmosphere, great area.
Personally I thought my course (JW5S) was very well planned, my favourite bit being 7 or so controls over about a km in the technical wooded slope, brilliant control picking, and a great contrast to the runnable chase!
I had a reasonably good run too, but continued the sarum tradition of being 4th! (actually I was 6th, but 4th out of the people who were eligible for interland selection...and of course there would be three places!!)
Thanks SYO for a great event.
Just waiting for results now...!

i def enjoyed it as well, even tho i had the worst run i've had in ages, lol cant concentrate for more than 10 controls tho so messed up most of them after that so im waaaay down the results but hey, i still enjoyed it..with my fav bit being the same as helen, in the technical wooded slope although i had 4 or 5 longer legs rather than the shorter legs jw5s had.
n i think i managed to fall / try to go thru every brample patch in the bit up by the bug wall (my number 12) where its supposed to be easy 'o' but i seem to mess it up every time i go there...and end up with a lovely new criss cross pattern accros both legs...bloody thorns

i thought planning/area/courses/event were great exept for the starting
i dont think they should do starting blocks on a major selection race
i had some kid a minute behind me - screwed a couple of controls up, he
caught me up couldnt get rid of him 4 the rest of the course
if he had started somewhere normal behind me - 3-4 minutes hed never have cuaght me
o well i like to have a good moan every now and then

yeah they should have start times, my sister had two girls (not mentioning ne names) who deliberately started like 3 minutes and 2 minutes behind her...they caught her up but she got away again but didnt make up enough time!!

I ended up starting waaaaaay after everyone else cos the ppl who were SUPPOSED to be relieving the download team turned up late. I enjoyed the run esp the first half. I dont think i was generally fit enough for the course yet so the last bit on the chase was a slog.
I think there were probs with loads moree ppl than expected entering on the day. I know a couple of ppl who hadnt sorted their entreis out before the deadline couldnt get on to course 4.
