CROESO 2004 JUNIOR ENTERTAINMENT

Hold onto your hats kids, here’s what we’ve got lined up for ya:

N.B.:- Dates and times may change at short notice – check at event centre enquires for updated information on all events including competition entry information
All events will take place in the evening of the dates listed – check at event centre enquires during the week for specific timings

THURSDAY 17TH AUGUST -
10 pin bowling knock out tournament at Brecon Leisure Centre
RULES:-
There will be 4-6 people in a team and each team must consist of:
At least one male member
At least one female member
To enter, go to enquiries at the event centre (NOT at the event itself) during the week and fill out an entry form, return it on or before the closing date Wednesday 16th August with the entry fee of £2.10 per person
NB:- ENTRY IS LIMITED TO 8 TEAMS ONLY
Each member in the team will count towards the team total i.e. each member’s score will be added together. The mean average score will then be calculated. If this score exceeds the average score of the opposition team(s) then they will go through to the final.
(Assuming 8 teams are playing) the competition will go as follows:
There will be two first rounds, round A and round B
Teams will be picked at random and put into either round (4 teams in each round)
Round A will take place at approximately 7pm and round B approx. 8pm – please be there 15mins prior to your scheduled start time
Each team will be playing against the other 3 teams in the round and the one with the highest average score will go through to the final
The final will be played at approximately 9pm and will be using the same rules as before: the mean score for the team will be put against that of the other team and the one with the highest score wins
The rules may be slightly different depending on the entry numbers – more information including entry info will be displayed at enquires after the closing date or after all 8 team places have been filled

FOOTBALL -
Arrangements have been made to have goal posts put up on the football pitch for kick abouts etc – N.B. footballs will not be supplied

SPECIAL EVENT-
There will be a special surprise event on one evening during the week – more information will be posted at some point during the week at event centre enquires

PRE WARNING -
After the event a report will be written for RC5 and I am looking for contributors – in the same way that the report is being done for the o-ringen the contributions don’t have to be very long, only 2-3 hundred words – more information after the event

yeah i think the rules about age are a bit silly, coz its quite hard to find a team of that age range...ie a group of 18s arent gonna enter if they have to find a 14, and vice versa...
