Best superglue!
I need to fix my Intergrators badly, and Loctite from CK Coombs failed to do the job at the weekend - what's the best glue anyone's found for sticking O shoes back together? If not I'm going to have to resort to the great Peter G leukotape solution.
Will? We've got proper fire now!

Re: Best superglue!
I managed to fix a pair of shoes with epoxy resin and rubber solution glue from B & Q. The upper and sole had separated so I stuck them together using a large amount of epoxy resin then after 24 hours ran a thick layer of rubber solution glue all round the gap between the upper and sole.
The repair didn't last for very long but I got about half a dozen more events out of them before the inevitable happened and I had to replace them. I felt I got enough extra use to make the repairs worthwhile.

The problem with both superglue and epoxy is that they are inflexible and will crack when the parts they are bonded to flex. The best thing for these jobs is Evostik impact adhesive, which is flexible. Evostik are a brand who make a variety of glues - the one you want comes in a red tin (or tube) and will possibly be tucked away behind a counter as it contains solvents glue sniffers like.
