That's what the blurb said, and I thought that they would work. But oh no, as I should have guessed, they were useless at the overnight camp at the OMM. One look at the spindly little pieces of turd in their puny polythene pouch at the 'Up and Running' stall in the cowshed on Friday night should have told me that they would be about as useful as a chocolate teapot, but oh no, I was won over by the weight saving. Come Saturday evening, I was using (as detailed in another Nopesport post - forgive the repetition) bits of wood, pencil and a mess tin handle to secure my tent. Come 2am Sunday and the whole thing collapsed. The ensuing six hours of shivering prior to the start of day 2 were not enjoyable.
Never again.
Anyone willing to stand up for them? (As they quite literally are unable to stand up for themsleves

Or can anyone tell any similar tales about 'nightmare' pieces of kit they wished they'd never bought?
