My pair of icebug Mr2s have finally given up the ghost - ripped the lace supports.
Sadly I can't find anywhere in the UK that's selling them any more.
I think I read somewhere that they had found retailers in the UK for their updated range but I can't find any.
Icebug are being unresponsive and their listed UK distributor is an invalid email address!
I'd love to spend a few weeks/months breaking my feet into a new pair of shoes - probably innov8s - oh wait no I don't.
Sadly this is looking like the only alternative, which is a shame because I've tried a variety of shoes before and had issues with them, but the icebugs were great out-of-the-box.
Any thoughts?
Would kinda like replacements by next weekend
Icebugs in the UK?

Run in flats and see if I can catch you...
I've just bought MudClaws and their reputation is well deserved. Great grip: destroys the ground, destroys my feet. Wasn't overly convinced by my VJ Integrators, so you following Mr Millard's footsteps and getting Walshes might work. Or have you tried contacting Mr Ultrasport directly? 01952 813918
See ya Saturday.

I may have to! True I'll still beat you but hey.
Anyways think the uppers on my running shoes are made out of rice paper - one race and I don't think they'll be any left.
Yeah it's the feet destroying thing I don't want to have to put up with, but it does seem that the MudClaws are the popular choice.
VJ integrators are evil and don't agree with me (i don't see how they agree with anyone - how do your feet pitch with those heels?), but then the twisters didn't fair too well either - toe issues.
Walshes are a possibility but ultimately I feel I've paid my dues in trying out shoes (read: lazy) and was kinda looking forward to just ordering the same pair. AFAIK ultrasport don't and never have stocked them.
Is anyone coming over from Sweden who could just pick me up a pair?
That'd be awesome.

There's a UK distributor:
England - Man O'Leisure 0127 5394204
email: rupert.mol@blueyonder.com
Worth a call maybe?

Ahh the elusive Man O'Leisure
Try and find some information on them I dare you, with the internet age I didn't think it was possible to have a digital footprint as small as theirs but hey.
The email address and telephone number are incorrect, a brief google pulls up a working number (01395 443789).
Sadly "they no longer work with that company"
Looks like it's going to have to be some mudclaws

Try contacting Snow Industries of GB to find MOL. Owners are Geoff & Sally Burton. Used to be based in Pirbright but now in Devon I think. I used to work for MOL in the 1980's when they were UK distributors of Karhu Skis and other stuff. Not be in touch for years.

Hmm ok that sounds promising. Perhaps I found the wrong man o'Leisure then, the guy I talked to was fairly unhelpful and just said they didn't work with them anymore.
I'm still keen to find some icebugs, even though I got some innov8 last week - they disagree with me.

Icebugs in UK?
Have you tried Northern Runner? They have them listed on their website and even seem to have them reduced to £50 at the moment!
