Has anyone got a new SI card (sorry) Version 6?
How much better are they than the old ones, and how shiny is the Gold/Silver.
Is it bling enough for me. (if you don't know me, gauge against Mharky - would he use it??)

Now, I know you're a feminist, and I think that's adorable, but this is grown-up time and I'm the man.

Braddie, I have 2
They are the bomb, you can really taste the difference when punching, much quicker than the old ones. The extra length really impresses the ladies, and with the 8 new colours, you can be sure to find your perfect combination to match all your Gucci o-kit.

true personalisation
You also get to program them with useful snippets of information such as your nopesport cough* bof number, favourite food, name and address.
(use SI Manager to achieve this)
And with custom numbers available this is the icing on the cake. The icing which IMHO destroys the competition.

U need a puter, SI Manager (program) and a programming unit. Theres normally this setup at most SI events you go to. So hang aboot the finish tent towards the end and im sure they'll let you program it then.

Been done already - the BOF membership database can be linked to the SI software.
Works fine as long as you've told BOF your SI number and aren't borrowing an SI card. When I tried it quite a few people weren't on the BOF database though.

Latest I heard from BOF is that they were suspending the development of the SI Database because of Data Protection issues. Fraid I caused a stir by insisting that they didn't include my details on the SI Database as a non SI holder...... so they've got to investigate the situation properly
