Tent
I need a new tent to take to the oringen and scottish, anyone know of any good deals? I've decided I want a bit more space than my half a person tent I have at the moment. Also I need a super light one for doing mountain marathons, any reviews?

As far as MM tents are concerned, we've got a Polaris you can borrow - weighs 680g. That's less than a loaf of bread, and to be honest, the bread would probably be a better shelter! Not a comfortable night's sleep, but if you're keen to save weight, PM me...
If you want to buy one, the Terra Nova Laserlite is good - lightweight, double skinned, and just about big enough for two.

for a mountain marathon may i suggest you use this:
swedish girls are impressed by the size and styling of your tent. for the o-ringen i would suggest that something like this
would surely draw in the fillies.
seriously though, if you are considering buying a tent thats going to last, terra nova get my vote, especially for their quality of build. i got one of their ultra quasar tents about 8 years ago. its still going strong and has no faults whatsoever. (and is the veteran of many o-ringens, including the infamous 'atlantis 2000' when the mythical underwater kingdom was in fact discovered to exist in a field by hallsberg, central sweden.

since the text says that his tent was Hindorf's "indispensible companion" for a year it maybe didn't have quite the effect you ascribe to big ones...(or maybe it did, and that's what made it so indispensable)
