have both the wafflers and icebugs..
wafflers great for beerienteering but haven't tryed them in any other racing disciplines.. And for the dance floor, what a grip.
Icebugs- good shoe, light and flexible. not bad through terrain, although crap does fall down the sides. Good for terrain training as they give more cushioning to the heel but wouldn't recommend them for racing. Ran up a hill through snow with them in salt lake, shoe felt great and lived up to its name.

icebugs are designed around a road shoe, jsut with dobs on the bottom for when you are living in scandi and have to do a 5km time trial on ice without slipping into the middle of the road and trying not to get hit by the bus to skräderbacken...
but anyway. they are aimed at ice/snow trail running, not terrain. however having drooled over olegs for abit i noticed they do have a tough material style protective patch to stop frontal damage.
a good buy if you live where i do, or if you are as rich as oleg. but not a competition shoe
