translation: any version of water that has some sugar or salt in it will stay in you longer than plain water because it does not dilute the blood so you do not shed the excess water so quickly (that comes later!)

She concluded that the majority of the benifit came from the fact that you psycologically feel more prepaired if your drinking a specific energy drink, so if you feel it gives you a boost then its the stuff for you.
So it's like a placebo effect?
Do you know what she used as controls?
She used water. the lucozade adverts boast about how it keeps you going 33% longer, and if you read the small print, it says, 33% longer in tests conducted compaired with water! there were also some glucose solutions but i cant remember what they were %tage wise.
