Can anybody suggest some orienteering specific circuit training? I'm going to be stuck on a oil field out in the desert for Novemeber and need something to keep me occupied if there's not a gym there. While there's lots on google I wondered if anybody had their own routine that they can recommend.
Oh and what’s good for an interval rep?

I've got a good photo of Jon in action somewhere, will have to dig it out.

try
5 groups of 3 exercise:
(1 leg exercise, 1 abdominal exercise, 1 arm exercise) - 5 different groups.
you can put these together in different ways.
you can do all 5 groups consecutively, creating a 15 exercise circuit - do this set of 15 3 times round.
or
you can do three consecutive repetitions round each group of 3 exercise, before moving on to the next group of three and repeating round that 3 times.

In our weekly circuits we do 4 groups of 4 - 1 group each of legs, arms, abs/back and cardiovascular (bench jumps, shuttles, sprinting on a crash mat etc), and always make sure we have a wobble board station and a "standing on one leg with your eyes closed" station to strengthen ankles and improve proprioception.
