I've just moved to the Derby area and have decided it is time to stop eating lard and to get out running again .... does anyone know of any good running clubs in Derby? .... one that combines running with a the odd pint or two would be ideal!
Thanks!

Seeing as no-one else has replied I'll give my half-helpful answer. I don't know of running clubs but DVO do training runs. From their website:
Club Training Runs every Wednesday from various venues.
Normally 1st and 3rd Wednesday in every month from the Johnsons in Belper
2nd 4th and 5th Wednesday in every month from Steve Buckleys in Derby
Any changes to that schedule will be posted here.

Derby Running Clubs
All the Derbyshire Clubs are listed at this site - the Derbyshire County Athletic Association site:
http://dcaa.org.uk/index.html?row2col2= ... 2col2.html
Some have their own websites.
The biggest club in Derby is Derby AC. Meet at Moorways on the south of the city.
