How wasted can you get?

Having read something in discussion this has just occured to me: Whats [edit]**IN ONE SESSION** eg one evening, and what were you drinking?
Also no doubt a chance to name and shame the stuff that wasnt intended to be done while you were drunk...

had a great photo a while back of a guy drinking 5 pints at once, with him holding each glass just higher than the next, so they poured into each other, and the final one in his mouth. didn't look easy but a cool party trick notheless

aha, ive seen that one, looks very impressive. surely it would have been easier to just get a yard glass.

there's nothing easy abotu a yard glass..... especially after the volume of alcohol i'd had before it seemed like a good idea to try!

the legendary 8 pint challenge (8pints in an hour) has been attempted by many orienteers over the last decade or so. I once gave Roger Goddard (Godger Rodhard) a lift home from a white rose after he had completed this amazing feat only to nail himself on a cattle grid (feet into the gap, face onto the bars) walking back to the campsite from the pub. the sunglasses he was wearing partially hid a couple of beautiful black eyes that weren't really black, more multi-coloured.

on the plus side, Rodhard and his cronies on the same night managed to get a spectacular drinking trophy from the pub, a balckened metal cauldron that must have been the size of a small bath. not that i condone stealing in any way, shape or form.
