Yea, the headlines have been full of Southern Softie snow horror stories, like the life or death situation when 200 motorists got stuck on the A38 for days and had to choose between eating each other or a Little Chief chicken and ham pie.
Anyway on page 73 of The Times I found this report.
"In other news, the Loch Lomond ice sheet reformed over Scotland, blocking the A73 for over 900 years. Rural minister Brian McFryan is investigating whether tourism grants are needed for B and B's in Stirlingshire as the area is currently under 1000 metres of ice. However this may be balanced by the drowning of Alexandria and other Glasgow townships in a eustatic sea level rise event".
