In my relentless struggle to be cheerful - I'd like to know if you got anything interesting for Christmas. As I mentioned else where Young Neville got a mushroom growing kit and an Indiana Jones outfit - also a shoe box with tissue flames coming out of it to put in the "feature fireplace" at his hovel - essential equipment for any student I feel.
My presents on the other hand were mostly compost themed. I got a compost rotator and a very elegant crock for the kitchen scraps which even has a filter in the lid to stop it getting smelly
What did you get?
Christmas presents

Re: Christmas presents
I got an invite to a local lunch out - never been to the local deli, lived here over 10 years many hints dropped over the years ( I don't get out much!).
A ticket to a folk concert.
A pair of greeny/yellowey glowy running gloves.. Just the thing for the cold winters nights training - less excuses now .
Best of all a pair of Swoops. .only had trail shoes before. better grip with these and they fit my Clarkes EE wide feet. No excuses now on the slippery forest floors....
and the Swoop's snazzy colour matches the new gloves (and sadly my SI Card too) so I can find my extremities during night O with my 30 year old trusty petzel head torch (now there's an idea for next Christmas..)
Son won't be seen around with me until I've gone through a few muddy marshes!
