Re: Divided loyalties ?
Nope.... when Hearts reserves scored with 3 minutes to go I was a happy camper:) [Romanov was seen with his Hearts scarf on at the match:)]

Re: Divided loyalties ?
wonder how much of a bonus they were on ?
its all over the news here, reckoning it leaves Rangers £12m out of pocket, maybe needing to sell good players, who will be keen/targets to go elsewhere for Euoropean competition.
neat tactics from Romanov - torpedo the opposition before the season even starts ...
wonder when he'll torpedo his own side though !

Romanov got a bit pi**ed off at the Burns's Supper last January.... Ukio Bankas were the main sponsors.... the guy doing the toast to the lassies was a Hibs supporter & stood up wearing a Hibees scarf.... the Romanov table were not toooooo happy:)

Re: Divided loyalties ?
...Well we (IFK Gothenburg) got robbed by a scottish referee tonight after a shocking penalty decision, and thus are out of the Champions League. The IFK lads said it was a scandal and they expected better from a British ref. Well to be honest they could have expected better if the ref had been English, but scottish you're having a laugh. The scots haven't got a clue about football they should stick to stuff they're good at like curling, tossing their kabers, and wingeing about Scottish independence.

Gross: I also remember IFK beating Dundee Utd in the final of the UEFA Cup in 1987, with Sir Sven in charge, glory days!

Ahhhhh..... and May 1967 was not only memorable for the birth of an ex GB elite orienteer... but also the 1st UK team to win the European Cup.... and all lived within 50 miles of Glasgow:) [which is in Scotland I believe:)]

Re: Divided loyalties ?
Jamie Stevenson has the same birthday as Scott Fraser March 25th- 11 years apart, with Jamie born in 1975 and Scott in 1986. Both are Scottish but due to their birth years were never destined for international football stardom.
In 1975 England thrashed Scotland 5-1 to win the Home Internation Football Cup
In 1986 Scotland finished bottom of a group topped by Denmark(!) in the 1986 World Cup, unforgetably England was robbed of the top prize by the Hand of God in the Quarter Finals, losing to the eventual winners Argentina. I wonder if the ref was Scottish???
