just so you no, i've voted yes, because i agree....if the majority of members cant understand text chat then fair enough, i'll stop using it.....jus give me an ajustment period, lol (am i aloud to use lol?! ), and i'll start using proper english!!

i dont think that the stipulation was that they should use perfectly formed grammar and spelling, but they could at least try to use real words. I may have the english skills of a retarded ape, but at least people know what i mean when i write stuff, and you dont have to extapolate a word from my selected consonants in an attempt to look hip and groovey, yeah!

It might be quicker for you to write, but it's certainly not quicker for (most of) us to read!
Also, if typing a few sentences feels like it's taking you a long time, I'd recommend learning to touch-type properly; it will save you time and be a valuable skill for the future.

the thing is that not everyone speaks this language, the primary language of this site is english, if a load of random scandi's, scott, mharky & others all decided to start posting in swedish it wouldn't go down too well with all those who don't understand the same language...
