Roberts? on a board? Now that I would like to see! Ha Ha, NA the Dover's far to smooth to be caught up in Boarding, he keeps it real on the ski's, means he can slide up behind the ladies! Know what I'm saying?
Have a good one Dover, Like a lump of lard sliding across a tilted frying pan

Well young Andrew, as it happnes there is.
Let me set the scene. My office is in one of the trailers (effectively a portacabin but bit more substantial i.e. not mobile and fixed to foundaitions). I sit at my desk in my office facing the door and directly opposite is the IT department where a South African called Fritz sits facing his door, so when the doors are open we face each other across the corridor.
So last night I'm sitting at my desk with the door open and Fritz is at his, it was about midnight here and I was pottering about, acctually on MSM to BJ when BOOOM, explosion. I look up at Fritz and say:
Me: Fritz I think that was a mortar
Fritz: Na big fire craker man
BOOM another explosion
Me: Fritz that was an 81mm Mortar [see that, military man, can smell the size of it as it whistles through the air, I was right too]
Fritz: Na man I tell you fire cracker [this is Fritz, a bit of a jocker]
BOOOOM
Fritz: Brian man that was a mortar
Me: a no worries Fritz stay away from the windows and we'll be fine
BOOOM
Fritz: Aye, no worries man
then 10 armed security guys go running past our office
5 minutes later small arms fire breaks out close by then it went quite with just a few shot here and there.
All part of the daily life at present in Iraq.
Found out later that most people evacuated to the bomb shelter ha ha,
the mortars missed the camp though and landed just outside the compound. All seems to have quitened down now though.

the only mortars they have over here are for clearing avalanches.
12 more inches of powder overnight, i got up early and headed over to blue sky basin, theres a black off piste run there called lovers leap, it starts with a 4 metre drop off over a cornice then into oblivion.
i stood at the top and shat my pants for a bit before heading over the edge.... needless to say i wiped out..
