So Johnny was in touch... but he is still a legend. Later that night I heard two irish boys talk about how Johnny is a #### and a cheater. I would have said that the TV ref was crap, and Johhny is amazing at what he does. But I guess I'm biased

Johnny is class. I admit it! It wasn't a try but either way we were poor and weren't going to win.

All of the 6-nations is a patriotic rant. Which is a joy when your team plays quite jobbie, but go on for the win.
2 bad calls in the first weekend. Stupid refs.
Edit: can't believe I posted a dirty word...that's great automatic editing.

I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.

Oh well. At least the Irish have one famous St Patrick's Day victory to cheer about.

They're burning effigies of the Pakistani cricketers over in Pakistan (and India). And issuing death threats for them. Oops...
KARACHI (Reuters) - Angry Pakistani cricket fans took to the streets in protest and burned effigies of players on Sunday, hours after the side's shock defeat to Ireland in the Caribbean put the 1992 champions out of the World Cup.
Protesters held a mock burial of the team and the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in Hyderabad city, while posters and effigies of captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and coach Bob Woolmer were burnt in Multan.
Private television channels were flooded with e-mails and calls from angry fans, who wanted the team and the PCB to be held accountable for bringing shame on the country.
Many of them pleaded emotionally for the government to withdraw all awards given to the players and management and freeze their bank accounts.
"That is the least they can do for the shame and disgrace they have brought upon us. They must be made to pay for their spineless performance," one protester, Yasir Ali, said in Multan.
In Hyderabad, Saleem Kazi, a club cricketer and protester taking part in the mock burial, said that as people celebrated when the team won, they had every right to vent their anger too.
Most Pakistanis have a passionate and emotional bond with cricket and the sport receives massive media exposure in a nation of 160 million people.
Overreacting or just passionate about cricket? I don't think most of the Irish public even realise that we were playing.

One of the favourites to precede to the next round.
May be what was meant.
But yeah, the Irish...obviously the country is taking to the cricket in a big way.
Soon be playing it in Croke Park too.
