Ahhh! unlike some round here (Dikalot has now changed his name to EDDIE) I will not bow to pc pressure. I am a professional housewife! I'm sorry if that offends all the bright young career things but evidence now shows that children do better when their mothers looks after them (as opposed to anyone else) - and I'm sure RJ will produce an orienteering poster to prove it shortly!

for goodness sake Mrs H - i expected more from you. Evidence can show whatever they want in this day and age! One minute alcohol is bad for you, then red wine is good for the heart. Mobile phones are bad for you. But not when used with headset, unless driving, or a child, or near a transmitter.
i've lost track of the number of "scientific" studies that have come out saying something is bad for you, just to be contradicted by another study months later.

As for being PC - i work on the "Stingy Face" rule book. if i say something and get a stingy face, then i don't say it again. otherwise, its fair game.
(and yes, the wife has discovered my rule book - explaining the bruises. luckily the girlfriend has yet to work this out.)

Well no one pays me to do those - rather the opposite in fact! I do however get housekeeping money hence my professional housewifely status.

At least I'm not getting paid for doing anything else while I'm posting - unlike some of you out there - how do you get away with it?
