It's Lost Night again. Becks did a good job of whetting the appetite on her flying visit so I'm clearing the work before settling down with a glass of red and some phish food to see if Ethan is coming to get us tonight.....Apparently the big guy's flashback episode is good too.. and the japanese couple's story is sad...and we have to put up with more of Doc's father and we find out about those 20-some other passengers who never get a look in...and ...but not all in tonight's episode sadly.

i dont get it. i just dont
having decided that lost was rubbish after about 5 episodes in a row, it then got good for about 2 episodes, and then rubbish again, i then couldnt stop watching and watched all 24 episodes, just to start on season 2 and realise that series one was rubbish in comparison.
what is wrong with me? btw, if u like all that crap in series one, u'll love series 2 (from the 2 i have seen so far)
plus, pastiche? i would love to think so, but i think its acttually cynically marketed rip off. sorry
nae need for the hobbit though.
lost=5hit but guid. weird
(just felt the need to break the new rules there, things have changed since i was last here about 3 weeks ago, eh?)

Here is my theory
they had about enough interesting material for a 2 hour movie.
But they thought - we can make more money from it if we drag it out into 24 episodes - hey it worked for 24.
And people are such sheep that they will get taken in by the hype and the fact that everyone else is watching it and by the time they have wasted half a dozen evening out of their lives they won't want to admit that it is pish and they have wasted a dozen evenings out of their lives and they'll continue to throw good time after bad in the hope that it improves and it wasn't all just a con and that it was worth sticking with it.
OF COURSE THEY'RE ALL DEAD
cynically marketed rip off
yes exactly
its sh ite.
Try watching it again on Sunday afternoon, and you will realise that it is just string you along vacuous sh ite.
your time would be better spent:
Wednesday nights - asleep
Sunday afternoon - in the bath, cooking dinner, cutting your toe nails - anything really.

Twin Peaks . . . never got to see the end of that, they started re-showing it about five years ago, I think on Channel 5 in the middle of the night, and then abrubtly stopped halfway through the series. I was not impressed (with the cutting, not with the series).
Will get hold of a copy of it on DVD one day when I have money.

Are all the Lost viewers lost out there?? I need some feedback on event development, particularly as I appeared to lose Nopesport just at the crucial moment when Ethan struck - so what is going to happen to the baby?
This week was a tad dull.

I think he's God. How else could he be suddenly able-bodied, able to predict exactly when it starts raining and summon up the big crashy jungle monster at will? It was good this week but I thought Korean woman was on the run from Korean man yet she says she loves him?? The love thing between step-sister and brother was a while in coming. Will keep watching though.
