Lost

My brain is exploding with questions and we are only at the second break:
Was that Jack getting out of his car behind Desmond at the race track? (I seem to recall him meeting Desmond in the stands in a previous episode?)
Why was Locke crying?
What is the significance of the big foot with only four toes?
Who are the guys in the yellow suits?
What did one snowman say to another?
Who is 'him'?
Do any of these get answers in the third series???

3) Not sure...maybe its an ancient relic of the previous super race that lived there?
4) Its just one guy, its Kelvin Inman apparently.
5) Smells like carrots
6) I assume its Kelvins replacement.
7) I should bloody well hope so.
My golly gosh were sad arent we?

Right...lets discuss this.
Desmond is wrong, there IS a world outside the island because the Russians in the staion thing found the electromagnetic signal from the island. But what was the electromagnetic thingy? Are Locke, Eko and Desmond dead? And what are the others going to do with Jack, Kate and Sawyer? Why would they send their leader (Henry) to get Locke, when it now appears they don't want him at all? WHY?

Aaaaaaaghghghghgh! What do you think Bedders?
Desmond's lady has used her millions to get the foreign guys in the snowstorm to monitor electrical disturbances because a connection has been made between Desmond going missing and such an occurrence. So it looks like a search party will be heading to the island but, sadly, Desmond has heroically died to save the survivors.
The hieroglyphs read 'cause to die'?
And is Henry really a 'good guy'?
Do Locke and Eko survive?
No mention of a third series.....what will we do?

Having had time to ponder, and knowing how much my contributions are appreciated, here goes:
Libby was working for the Others/Hanso (still not sure if they're the same) to ensure a certain group of people ended up on the island. We've only seen direct evidence of this with Desmond and the boat, but she might have been planting suggestions in Hurley's ear in the mental hospital. Something about lottery numbers? It may well have been her machinations that sent all of our castaways on their respective journeys. They want specific people on the island so they could carry out genetic experiments, possibly to do with the virus from the Sri Lanka video. This is also the reason they arranged events so that the two women who had (extra-marital) sex on the island were killed. They don't want any unplanned pregnancies that could mess up their experiments. Sun's baby is part of their plan, so she was allowed to live.
Libby also had to be killed because Desmond might have recognised her upon his return. Similar for Kelvin and Sayid. The links between most of the castaways are at least one degree of seperation apart, but those two pairs knew each other directly. If they got to talking, the castaways might find their missing links (Christian, Randy, Nadia etc) and realise that the events of their lives have been manipulated in order to get them on that plane, which the Others don't want them to know about. If Mike and Waaaaaaalt go get away, they might meet up with Penny. Maybe help her with her tapestry or something.
More equally implausible theories available at the Lost Theory Generator.

It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.
