Re: Lost
Polar bear bones in the desert? A dead pilot with no wedding ring? A ghostbuster on the team from the freighter? The ghost of Charlie appearing to Hurley in the asylum? Ben getting bloodier by the minute. Same old LOST then.. Series 4 - anyone know what's going on yet? Bedders, where have you been watching it for the last year and a bit? And just realised we joined NOPE on EXACTLY the same day..doo do doo do, doo do doo do - seems we are over qualified for LOST!

Oh go on Becky. If only to give me someone at work to talk to about it.
For those still playing at home, some background to the "discovery" at the start of ep 2: http://www.find815.com/site/index.php
The network have also been releasing little vignettes over the last few months as mobisodes. Looks like most of them are here, if you can put up with Italian subtitles

Re: Lost
Aye its great to have Lost back on my screen every week! Hopefully after series 4 finishes it wont be too long until the next series of heroes which got a bit screwed up by the writers strike.
Saheed is a legend. I love how he is so straight talking.

I don't think we're ever going to know the absolute truth. The best we can hope for is to come up with plausible theories based on the limited information available.
In other words, watching Lost is JUST LIKE SCIENCE!

My follow-up was going to be "obscure, pointless, frustrating and largely incomprehensible, even to those who spend all day doing it"
But occasionally, capable of moments of sublime transcendence. That's why we stick at it.

Re: Lost
As I am dying to discuss the most recent episode yet eldest daughter has accused me of posting spoilers, I offer the following cloze exercise for all LOST fans:
So why does .......... want to see ......... Does .......... really love ..........? Why can't ......... find ..........?
How come we didn't know .......... had a ..........? Where has .......... got to on the ......... with ..........?
Who does ........... work for? Will we ever find out who ........... really is? Oh no!! How did .......... come to have ..........?

Re: Lost
Should be able to get your daughter up to date soon.
I think one of your questions has been answered by ep 5. Another one to ask might be, does he count as one of the six? How many are there left to reveal? (I guess there are at least two "he"s that could refer to)
I reckon episode 5 was among the best of the series so far. And not just because Kate was nowhere to be seen. Loved that they used "unstuck in time". Billy Pilgrim was the first thing that came to mind the last Des epidsode. I wonder if now Des, and presumably Daniel, have their memories restored, do they remember the Oxford meeting?
