Surely not.
At the moment? Dresden Dolls live CD that I picked up at the gig last night. Maybe I'm just not as practiced at multi-tasking, but I find listening to more than one thing at a time a little confusing.

It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.

pyrat gave me an athlete album t'other day, he won it at the JK and didn't want it so passed it on to me, it might well end up as a prize at the PT
needless to say he isn't a fan.
arcade fire rock my world, they even got played at the egg on saturday night. i am definately going back there the next saturday i'm in town. very nice.
i've not been listening to many albums recently, making compilations instead which takes time and too much effort, neither of which i actually have, but when i have been listening to stuff its mainly been:
arcade fire - funeral, ep
all mogwai releases, with my father my king on far too often too loud which im sure neighbours & flatmates appreciate greatly.
all the arab strap albums
malcolm middleton - lost in the woods & 5:14....
fugazi - 13 songs, red machine
pajo - pajo (papa m)
roots - phrenology
kid carpet - ideas & oh dears, dope jobby ep - which mr samsonite I have with me for you this weekend....
Ah, might as well jump. Jump!
Go ahead and jump
(or you can just get it here if you don't already
edit: if only it was actually called the dope jobby ep, how cool would that be.

I'm risking ridicule on two fronts - first, for my choice of music and second, for the fact that it's still on CD (but hey, I still have LP records...and something to play them on)
Crowded House - Recurring Dream (This has been on my CD player since mid -June. Even the road crew at the Crathes Status Quo gig were playing it in the sound check)
Others I have in my bag are:-
John Coltrane - The best of
New Order - The rest of
Moby - Play
Michel Camillo - One more once
Jamiraquai - Emergency on plant earth
Pink Floyd - The division bell
Earthworks - all heaven broke loose
Sting - Brand new day
Pet Shop Boys - discography
Let the abuse flow

nothing at all wrong with cds (or vinyl were it not for the fact that music buying would then take on an even bigger role in bankrupting me if i went there), so no need for ridicule there. give me the physical object with its artwork and random nonsense any day of the week.
anyway, i listen to the bulk of my music for the day on the walk to and from work, on my personal stereo. yes, thats one of those things that play cassette tapes - anyone else still keeping it real???
its been posted before, but i like it:
ipod vs cassette

come on Samsonite - i don't knock your musical tastes!!
if you feel you need to be alternative to be accepted when making posts on a music topic, you are more than welcome to do so.
but we were asked what we were listening to. i was listening to Jack Johnson. i ain't going to lie!
i also have Willie Mason, James Blunt and Maroon 5. Not to mention a few McFly songs, some Kylie, KT Tunstall and Gorillaz.
bring on the abuse! i get it at work all day anyway!

couple of things i missed - i do like that battle song - tendancy - any idea when they might have an album coming out? found it on this page on nme.com aaages ago and really liked it. incidentally thats how i found out about the editors, long before they were all over the nme, and that apartment song is jolly good too.
i knew i was gonna get knocked for them lot. i know killers and kaisers are rubbish, but i'll listen to them anyway. theyre nothing special but make good singalongs, thats all.
im gonna stand up for athlete and embrace tho, i do really like them and no-ones gonna stop me listening to them. i was pretty sure someone was gonna pick up on them but by posting them i was leaving my tastes open to abuse. i like them, end of.
oh, and for the record, i don't like kasabian.
