i went to my 9am tutorial today (one of only 2 people) and saw a grand total of 6 picketers, came out and went to the library about 10:15 or so and their numbers had swelled to 10... when i went for my lunch they'd all gone!!! and they claim students are a bunch of no good slackers!!!

We've had most of our lectures cancelled scence tuesday, and its getting to the point that if your lecture isnt canceled due to your lecturer beeing on strike, the it will be off due to snow! fantastic! wheres that sledge!
Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they are yours.

well that's certainly one advantage you northerners have - we have had nothing down here (a few flakes, maybe), but anything more than an inch and it causes absolute chaos, and turns the pavements into skating rinks. cue much falling over....
and I didn't see any of these supposed striking lecturers, the only one we had cancelled was because there was a power cut. surely sortable in an engineering department - or maybe not
has the snow got into Nottinghamshire - could it make for an interesting additional element at the chasing sprints?
