1.bus to Warsaw leaves you off 3km from the city centre!
2.once you get to the centre it is a nope hole!
3.they charge tourists 6quid for 2 noping chicken sandwiches!
4.in Krack-one-off (Krakov) where they mark the hostels on the map is nowhere near where they are in reality!which makes things interesting at 0430 and after a 12hour bev session!
5.you got to buy a ticket for yourself and your bag to get on the tram!if you don't you get fined 15quid!and if you don't pay they ring the police!

they've probably still not actually put that on the signs at the tram stops either? even the locals hadn't heard of that rule either...

The same happened in budapest in hungary with us on the metro, buying a ticket isnt enough you have to validate it at the station as well. The woman at the station we got off on was loving it when she managed to get the two gullible tourists to stump up just under £7 (2000 forint) for a fine.

What she didnt love was when those gullible tourists decided that they only had 1 x 20000 forint note between them (£70 or so) she had to spend 15 mins pansying around for change at a pay point (missing out on hundreds of other gullible tourists) while we abused her as a change machine for the 20000 forint note which we had tried getting rid of in hundreds of shops anyway, ok so we lost £7 in total but we got to piss off the tourist bully for 15 minutes as revenge.

yeah, i got caight with that one. you have to stamp you ticket in some hidden away machine before you get on. wierd. they really take ticket dodging seriously in Poland, they draged some guy of to prison coz he hadnt paid his 16p.

trying to tell the old lady in the ticket office that you want 3 returns to "sscuzzzhiskzsc" is always amusing as well, apart from when the train is nearly there and she still doesnt know what your talking about
