Apparently Ullrich reckon's he's in good shape, and Telekom have dropped Erik Zabel to cencentrate on the yellow - Telekom have the bloke who was second last year (Kloeden?) but still have Ullrich as TL.
Tyler Hamilton I think has been banned (not 100% sure)

Despite being a huge Jan Ullrich fan, I don't think he'll beat Lance this year - he didn't shine in Tour de Suisse and I just don't think he's got it psychologically. I reckon Vinokourov (or however you spell it!) will be T-mobile's secret weapon, and could stir things up. Basso is looking good as well. Could be a vintage tour...

It will be ace if it's on TV. Last year we got a freeview box which had highlights every night and live stages at the weekend - these luckily seemed to be either mountain stages or time trials. Hope this is the same this year.
(and Good Luck to Geoff Thomas, Ex England Footballer who is currently riding the tour 2 years after having Leukaemia - that's also hardcore)

I'll pray for Ullrich's win too, but as we all know Jan is stronger, but Armstrong is the greatest climber. I'm also watching for Liberty Seguro team, with Gonzales de Caldeano, Beloki and Roberto Herras in it. Hope this year the fight will be big ...

Le Tour on TV
Will it be on British Eurosport?
I loved the Channel 4 days, but their coverage has recently been a shadow of its former self (ie about two hours in total). This yr is the first that I have Brit Euro on my TV.

Commentary
It can't be as bad as that couple of jokers / non-triathlon experts who commentated on the women's triathlon at Athens last year: they missed the winning Swiss(?) woman for about the last ten minutes, until the final 100m of the race, if I remember rightly.
