Aww no Matt! That's so not fair! Well I suppose you'll catch me on the days I'm before you, and I won't see you on the other ones. And why for Christ's sake do I have the second start time on day 2? Thats sooooooooooo early...and there will be no elephant tracks, but it's on a day with "good to very good runnability" I suppose...

i think that depends. the terrain obviously matters, but elephant tracks are made when a lot of people run on the same routes.... and the oringen has as many people as you're ever going to get on one course.
i have seen millions of huge elephant tracks at the oringen, especially getting near the finish. The problem is following the right one, as as you said, lots of controls, lots of different routes.
