thats was one the best weekends i think i have ever had.
and i seem to have done pretty well in the races too. i thought joykok had well passed me by that age though.
banter trip to the ends of the earth (or so it felt to a wee 16 year old fae aberdeen) with the older kids. few beers on the clifftops at sunset on the sunday night, away from the 'rents, wondering around a big crazy beach area that looks like the moon in amazing sunshine and moonshine.
did i beat anyone else decent?
are the results online?

1997 pah.....
I remember 1988 Penhale (Caddihoe Chase and sourthern champs)
Camped next to String course to look after it. Ended up with a midnight streak string O with Neil Gard PM and D Duke.
A certain Planners Austin Allegro with a great sun visor strip on the windsceen which we tried to hide behind a sand dune.
Oh those were the days....

JK 1997: Mike French, tree, helicopter, dropped on a stretcher. Happy days indeed.
Also: the duncan holding off bendover on the run-in and nearly vomitting on me. We didn't just win that relay - we destroyed everyone - all 3 fastest legs if I remember rightly.

Internet... in 1997, you must be joking
Have a look at
http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/arch/watson/ori ... lts97.html
This was the (almost) official BOF results site back then, it actually starts in 96. Unfotunately the JK97 results link has long gone, but there are a few still working which might keep you amused. Change the 97 in the URL to 96 up to 03 for other years.
