Well guys, how's your craic. I'm here livin and lovin it up in Her Majesty's colony South Africa!
Spent the first week or so around Jo'burg went to the Drakensburg mountains about 3000m and did a border raid into Lesotho, not quite as jobby scary as the one we did into Russia. But after hearing stories about that area after our return perhaps should have been. Some orienteer and his mum got chased through the night by a sheep herder shooting at them.
Moved down to Cape Town the other day and was treated to a lot of beaver spotting in the beautiful secluded bays around the place.
My Birthday this year was spent on the Cape of Good Hope South Afirca's most south-westerly point, and then on to Boulder Bay just outside Cape Town for a bit of Penguin spotting, which was cool as!
Came to Stellenbosch yesterday and went wine tasting, the wine here actually tastes alright as opposed to the wine I used to pick up when minesweeping at the Sport's Union Ball. Got a good bit of head on there and got some jobby chat with the fit birds that dish the stuff out, so an altogether enjoyable day out.
Now me and Jamie are spending the week here in Stellenbosh, gettting sloshed, for not a lot.

Ewan you forgot to tell everyone that we'd been sleeping together for the last week. Was I not that memorable? Och well. Took friggin ages to get home and it's damn cold here and I've got work to do. At least I'm off to Spain on Friday. Don't drink too much Pinotage, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot etc.
