Purple Socks
Well, my sister is practising her guitar downstairs so the dissertation write up is off till lunchtime. Time wasting it is! Has anyone ever seen purple orienteering knee high socks anywhere? Or know of a Scandi club with purple in its colours? OUOC need some for our new kit extravaganza.
Will? We've got proper fire now!

Hearts, Burnly et al play in maroon , not purple, which is not a popular colour for footy kits.

I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.

if you just want the colour, you could buy the girly thin knee socks from the highstreet, chop out the bottoms(*otherwise you'll get blisters)and wear the now legwarmers over normal o socks.

Not that it's a lot of help but Winchmore Hill Hockey Club used to wear Purple socks, so I guess they may be available in good sports shops or sportswear catelogues as opposed to shops which only pander to premier football supremos.
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Yes - school outfitters might be a better bet - like School Togs - is that just round here? I think a fair number of schools wear proper purple. and there probably a lot cheaper than football teams replica kit.
