in my defence the only reason me and barrable werent 1st and 2nd by miles is that we failed to find/ believe in santa in the given time.
that white rose was quality, instead of 200m i ran 750m round a square, and mark did about a km through various shades of green while the rest of us went 50m north and ran along a nice road, saving what, 10mins?
hehe

Hate to admit to these things but my wee sister Cairsty has a 100% record against my good self since we have only competed against each other once - Scottish Score Champs 1998.
Being an arrogant little [nope]wit at the time i decided to go for a 40 pointer on the other side of the map as my first control. Spending 40 minutes trying to find it and then getting back late , my sister gathered the 30 points required to see me off by following a path for 700m or so... and then running back.

meat market - we should meet up some time. you're hot stuff.
as for that feckin fence... yep, it was the FCC race where i was caught out as well, only running the spectator race though being an old fart.. however it was well hard to see - dark forest on a dark, overcast rainy day. i didn't have a hope. blood everywhere.
as for my affinity wih barbed wire fences... i'd rather not talk about that particular fetish.

I had to retire as I really haven't rested properly in the past month or so, given that I haven't really run for months before that. So ibruprofen me up!!!

Now, I know you're a feminist, and I think that's adorable, but this is grown-up time and I'm the man.
