What is going on ?

On Tuesday this dog waddles its way into the path of my intervals.
It better still have a sore head because I still have a sore knee.
then last night I got a bat in the face.
not a cricket bat or anything but a small furry airbourne bat.
I don't think it bit me
but the moon was full
and come to think of it my canines are tingling a bit
and its nearly Halloween

Watch out for sheep ticks - they can give you nasty diseases too.

does anyone else have a phobia of cows?

Not very nice to be chased by spooked cows when you run through a farmer's field. However, some cows are ok, especially if they've got lots of space (eg open moorland in the Cheviots), and pay little attention to people.
