I had the pleasure of meeting Gross' old drinking partner Y.P. at the weekend, what a legend he was in the pork pie eating contest against the haries.
I heard a rumor that he once managed to completed centurion. No not beer shots, but 100 pints in 100 hours in 100 miles
Gross, do you know anything about this, and does anyone want to try and emmulate him.
GROSS, is it true?....

Indeed YP is one of the few individuals renowned for having completed the triple T. I'd like to point out that he spend 5 days in hospital afterwards, and it seems to have affected his brain somewhat, so maybe it is not such a good idea. It also seems to have affected his pie eating ability as he was absolutely jobbie! Just as well Megan Smith is legendary at pie eating, otherwise we would have been gubbed...

Yep - it's all true about YP... the triple 100 was achieved at the Easter Isle of Man Fest if I remember correctly... and one further attempt that went 'soft' was the quadruple 100... pints, hours, miles & w***n..
I remember well the Spartans Heavy 10... based on the Dublin Guiness 10... from Spartans Club in Buccleugh Street to the lights at far end of Meadows & back (about a mile) followed by a pint... x 10. YP & myself were the top favourites... you were not allowed to chunder... but at around the 6 mile point when we had been jogging most of the time we discovered people from the Swimming Club were ahead of us... they's only been going as far as Middle Meadow Walk... scoundrals:) So we put the boot in... destroyed then in leg speed & throat speed... and YP chundered... so I won... and then there was the time when the then EUOC Captain ended up in hospital having his stomach pumped instead of graduating.....
