Number one!
Cheers Ed
Hopefully my BOF ranking will soon be returning to its rightful position when they put on the Tinto Twin night event.

i heard...
that you were doing the maths on the sunday and decided that dnf-ing would basically [nope] everyone else's ranking points for the event? can you confirm or deny these allegations? if that is the case then well played!!!
>just noticed...
hows this work tho? are they awarding you points in anticipation:
3 David Godfree INT 7413 1348(02) 1253(06).....
02 16-Nov-2002 - SOA Scottish Night Championships 2002
03 24-Nov-2002 - LOC Bethecar Moor
04 15-Dec-2002 - SLOW OK Nuts
05 2-Nov-2002 - TINTO Tinto Twin Night
06 3-Nov-2002 - TINTO Tinto Twin Day
I really should do some work now....

Wanking points
Don't they teach you tell the time at Embra Uni anymore? 2002 was last year!!!!
DNF-ing was more to do with I was running jobbie so wouldn't win the race - and hence a)couldn't win the highly covetted (although not in the biblical sense) SOL title, and b) wouldn't get a good wanking score. Wasn't actually thinking about everyone else points as I only care about my own, don't think any of the punters in the race could seriously challenge my lofty position anyway.

aaaaaaaaahhhhhh
that'd make sense really - i've obviously spent too long here in the library not working - its frazzled my brain... they don't teach us anything here anymore as we spend too much time pishing about on msgboards....
in fact i'm not as bad as whoever does the ranking pages as the title says its the BOF 2000 Ranking List...

...just wait...
... until the Stickle Pike badge event gets on the ranking list!

Admittedly not as good as my victory at the National Event there in 1990 when no one else got championship standard, but perhaps this training business is working.

Or perhaps all the other decent runners were at the Inaugural. Or in my case, in bed sleeping off an attempt to rid the world of alcohol.
But seriously Dave, keep it up and soon you'll be able to beat Mike Billinghurst (M40, WCOC) by more than 16.9%. Awesome.
