nah i think we should hold it in strathspey, you could get an epic course encompassing rothiemurchus, inshriach, uath lochans & achlean.

yeah ok but what happens when it gets advertised by bof (assuming u want it advertised) and some poor sods from london want to go but cant because it all the way in scotland? I think we should have it in central england i.e. round my way where it's accessible to *everyone*

and it isn't much of a challenge cos the areas are crap? might as well make it as hard as possible and make it a proper challenge, 50+km round those areas would be solid, 15km last winter was bad enough!

1) 'Round my way' was expressing that it should be in my part of the country. It doesn't necessarily have to be where you feel the areas are quote crap unquote.
2) You cant have lake distict/scottish terrain everywhere (however it would be damn nice if you could)
3) Also it doesn't automaically have to be in winter. It would probably be in summer.

did i say anything about having it in winter? no, just that 15km was bad enough in inshriach etc in winter.
