Forgive my obtuseness but who the f**k is PeterB who seems to be taking over the nopesport. I'm well up for a bit of patriotism, him so gallantly displaying the flag. But Peter are you actually Welsh and have you run for principality in the JHI's etc. If not you've only got to be able to use a compass, well ok better not stretch the realms of Welsh O too much, and have a Welsh grandparent or cat or something.
Seasons Greetings to you all

i guess i should say something as being the least able member of team cymru. welsh junior squad days were great fun and sure its not the best squad ever. anyway i probably wouldn't be in orienteering now if they hadn't let me in so blame them.
and peterb get out there man do some training JHI selection is within everyone even i got in and after freshers week i was on tip top form/sweating all the alcohol out.
plus who ever thought of adding a trophy for the best team out of ireland and wales at the JHI genius gives each team something to fight for

1) The only part of me that is english (and unfortunately is stopping me from being in a welsh squad if i ever get that good) is the fact that i was born in england. Apart from the genetics i'm all welsh (but don't s**g sheep)
Brooner:
1) I have no intention (just yet) of going to Sheffield
2) Quite a lot of data that is linked to my personal identity within the BOF is confidential to all except me and authorized personnel employed by the BOF. If you walk down the quote 'well trodden path' unquote then I may have to get a lawyer...
3) Let us also not forget the child protection scheme...?

I belive the Welsh quilification in this case would be one Grandparent. Apart from that you just need to pay your WOA membership dues £7 for 2004 I belive. Then it's just a case of letting the selectors know you are qualified and running well enouth to get in the team.
