Graham Norden rather liked Greta & Little Cockup, hills north of Skiddaw - was even helicoptered in to do a segue for one of his out-take progs.

We had a school event on Strandshag Bay and Cockshot Woods which was a combination of two very small areas in Keswick. Can't remember too many smirks and giggles!

Deadman's Knob, in the Trevelyan Park in Tasmania was one I remember from the early 1990's

Breakneck Bank is now confirmed as Sunday 19 June (plug, plug) and a West Midlands League event.
Original date sacrificed to make way for rescheduled YBT Final, and parking problems now resolved.

Re: Banterous area names
Apparently Sandy Balls, new forest, that was the venue for a compass sport cup event a year ago got joked about in Have i got news for you
oh there was another page and someone's already got this. OK then, there's a treestump elsewhere on the logical route round the new forest that is apparently the remains of the naked man (a gallows tree we think)
When SAX got me to do the new map of 500 acre wood (just in time for it to be blown down in the october 1987 storm) the logical place to park in the middle of the area delighted in the name of faggot stack corner and nearby there is a house called pimp barn, but i failed to persuade SAX to rename the map after those features
