indeed, u r the one with the knowledge. i knew the second bit but someone hd already posted.

the questions set need to a case of argueing the merits if one band/artist over another. these bands have to have similar merit, so it makes it a tough decision

and i am indier than all of thou...

i'll kick off proceedings to give an example

Zeppelin because they are better and robert plant's son jordan went to the local bog standard primary with the little Hs and he used to turn up in his solid gold mercedes and run the father's race on sports day - none of sabbeth ever did any of these things and neither did rolf harris ever record any of their songs :shock:

its a very tough one due to the fact that both bands have tainted their legacies with jobbie solo work. zeppelin edge ahead on the fact that they didnt release singles, but fall back on the strength of writing a song about lord of the rings, even though it is good.
