now we have the possibility of losing to Sweden and still winning the Group, depending what the other game turns out like.

Just drop Crouch he was so pathetic play Lennon and even Downing but get rid of that Camel. He wasn't the only one to miss but at least the others were difficult chances cos the way the ball fell.

lennon was class. Sweet as that Gerrard got a wicked goal at the end, just the confidence boost he needed.

you don't realise how much i wanted us to win tonight, having lived here for 8 years. Im well pissed off. Just to beat would have made the world cup complete for me. Guess i have to settle for us beating the Argies and the germans

Mate I assure you Im 100% English and British and would have liked nothing better than to see England destroy sweden last night. England can meet both Germany and Argentina. England v's Argentina Final, bring on the falklands war part 2, The Sun will love it!
