yep, there are some nice bits in Shooters Hill, though at the last event we had to abandon the yellow course after kids set fire to most of the controls.
As a southerner I'm prepared to believe there are grimmer woods up north. Any offers?

some of the white rose areas are supposed to be grotty. My votes for the higher propeties would be hambledon, graythwaite, and loads of scottish areas

Looks like each region could submit its areas for both ends of the range. Although a lot of Scottish areas are good I can remember some I'd not wish to return to, and also some in the lakes. This returns to our debate on good and bad areas. Also some areas undergo redevelopment/regeneration. The Angel Islington is now much improved and some O areas improve as trees mature, others deteriorate after felling or natural 'events'
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Quite true. Wyrley common used to be absolutely horrendous but now at least two of the burnt out cars have disintegrated into barely visible pools of rust. Some of the fly tipping is also composting down nicely too.

It would take a natural event of epic proportions to elevate it out of its Old Kent Road status.

i'll be nominating the South Central regions as East West Walk, Farley Mount CP and Star Posts.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.
