i have mostly been listening to... someone else's taste in music
i got a samsung napster something 20gb mp3 player cheap off ebay and it has loads of music on it already but no software came with it so until i work out how to get more music on it that you can listen to -ie not just hidden files- i'm enjoying and laughing at someone elses music. there isn't much crossover between mine and this person's regular taste but it's been fun for a while -i'm guessing it was a she...
so i've been mostly listening to alisha keys, britney, aretha... ooh she had some old Ash which was a blast from the past. and blur's greastest hits which i didn't enjoy at all.

she's got all the current popular stuff. including kasabian and killers and all that. will have to give it a go.

yeah that athlete album is dirge. upsetting because the first album makes me smile from ear to ear thinking about sitting outside the union in the sunshine with beers when we finished our finals, playing rounders in the park, fly to el salvadour, don't know why and i don't know what for. la la la happy happy sing sing...

that is absolutely brilliant, its the equivalent of finding old unmarked cassettes or cd's that you don't have a clue whats on them... especially, in the case of tapes, when they're really old and found in the back of cupboards at work or at home. total pick and mix randomness.

speaking of which, does anyone want to have some mix swapping action? get in touch and send me something interesting and I'll make you either cd's or tapes in return, I'd would prefer to be sent tapes tho... good old pause & record.

I must say, Designated Driver pulled out some fantastic tunes at the weekend, tho the ones in the pub didn't go down too well with the locals. Or with DJ "Live Mixed Music at the Crofters Rest" Samsonite
