Chasers have got some good runners, and a badger, unbeatable! Just promise him a couple of stellas and he'll fly round.

Ah NOC haven't been the same since 2001, they lost their best runners after that year eh Rich? But i still think the next generation can show the other teams their MASTERY on the speedy terrain.

dag-nam-it i can't remember the verses, something about punching quickly and finding controls and stuff. to the tune of the wombles of wimbledon. hehe anyway enjoy the YBT.

I think the structure of the competition makes it very hard to call. if it was a straightforward club with the strongest junior section, then on present form Aire should win - but the situation when you can get burly young men blatting round yellow and orange courses massacring the best little girlies means that it could be quantity over quality, given that i think Walton Chasers may be in with a good chance as they will be able to field a large number of the occasional orienteers who haven't got gold standards - simply because they haven't got to travel far.

I'm going to disagree on that one! Sorry Mrs. H. Almost all our occasional orienteers who haven't got gold standards are under 12 years old! We have some very good M/W 14's and 16's who are either injured, or running green because they have gold standard but won't be able to compete against top 18's and 20's. I'll let you into a secret - we won't have counters on all 8 courses
I still think we can do it, tho'. Go Chasers!

somewhere in the world there is a video of us age c.12 singing that somewhere near Norwich.
Lilywhite: Dredging up the old bitter rivalry (hehe). Maybe the current crop of Chasers can succeed where you lot failed.
