that's what I originally meant, but it seems to have prompted a general discussion. So who would you like to see cover certain songs as well?? Many of the covers metioned were done on Jo Whiley's show - any good ones been done recently or does no-one listen to Radio 1 any more?

Saw them a week ago at the Oxford Zodiac. They're extremely talented musicians, listening and responding well to each other when they're playing. At one stage, the banjo player played the banjo with his right hand whilst the Ukelele(?) player played the left hand part - they played some pretty fast stuff and were perfectly synchronised - utterly amazing!
Some of they're rock covers are mad, especially the Spinal Tap ones, but possible they're best song was the American traditional 'May The Circle Be Unbroken'.
However, I have to say that I don't agree with what they encourage - heavy drinking especially.

One of my friends has some of the stuff hes comes up with from kazaa. a particular poignant moment is when he introduces his cover of "Rape Me" as "heres one for the ladies" before the piano comes in.

Yeah Ive got that one, it's actually really good. Also, Screeching Weasel's version of You Are My Sunshine and [spunge]'s No Woman No Cry are well worth a listen.
